Wrap up time

In the next few days I'm going to rapidly wrap up the release. I've decided not to do a sort of private beta and give that a lot of time, mostly because I don't think it will actually get us that much in return. A closed beta would just be me waiting for other people to do some hardware specific testing, and that doesn't accelerate things.

So I've made a new shortlist for release that I'll be focusing on. It's mostly known:

• image installation testing, and doing a few enhancements on the installer
• one last re-review of code changes in the last 2 weeks or so
• setting up bug tracker on forgejo and allowing users to make accounts
• wrap up the build system deployment guide

So, in the next few days posts are going to be a little short as I'm spending my time bringing these long action items to a close.

And then we can party, and I can take a break.
